Jovie is looking for experienced caregivers to help provide care to our local families on the evenings and weekends. Care would include making and providing meals, engaging in activities such as arts and crafts, board/card games, baking, outdoor play, bedtime routine, and staying with the children until the parents arrive home. Have fun babysitting in a family home while making extra cash!
Benefits:
  • Pay: $20-$23 per hour
  • Flexibility to work around a school schedule or other part-time jobs
  • Paid training
  • Work within 15-20 miles of your home
  • Communicate directly with your manager to learn new skills and meet new families

About you:
  • You can provide 3 references, 2 must be childcare-related
  • You have relatable childcare experience (special needs experience a plus) and the desire to work one-on-one with children in their home, putting safety above all else
  • You have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • You are available to work at least 3 shifts per week from the hours of 3pm - 12am
Working Conditions and Requirements:
  • Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities
  • Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play
Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
  • Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
