Job description

About SubBase
SubBase is a venture-backed, fast-growing construction tech company transforming how construction materials are managed. Today, materials worth hundreds of billions are still ordered and tracked through disconnected, analog processes. We're changing that.
Built by construction pros and powered by modern technology, SubBase delivers an intuitive platform that streamlines procurement, tracking, and communication between contractors and vendors. Our customers - from field teams to procurement managers - use SubBase to reduce costs, save time, and improve outcomes across their projects.
We're scaling quickly, with hundreds of millions of dollars in material orders already flowing through the platform annually. If you're excited to modernize one of the world's most essential industries, we'd love to meet you.
Role Overview
As an Implementation Consultant at SubBase, you'll guide customers through the full rollout of our platform - from initial onboarding through full adoption. You'll work closely with clients to tailor the implementation process to their needs, ensure successful integrations, and deliver clear business value.
This role is hands-on and collaborative. You'll travel to customer sites, manage multiple stakeholders, and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to drive great outcomes. You'll also contribute to refining internal playbooks, improving our approach to implementation, and supporting the continued growth of our team and processes.
What You'll Do
  • Lead new customer implementations from kickoff through go-live
  • Design rollout strategies that match each client's goals and timeline
  • Own technical onboarding, including integrations and workflow mapping
  • Identify and navigate risks related to client org structure, adoption, or process
  • Create and maintain implementation guides and internal best practices
  • Partner with internal teams to streamline implementation and feedback loops
  • Travel up to 50% (approx. 2 weeks/month) for onsite training and support

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior-level) in SaaS implementation, customer success, or professional services
  • Solid technical background with experience in software onboarding and integrations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work cross-functionally in high-stakes environments
  • Bonus: experience in construction tech or with complex field-based workflows
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client-facing work
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on delivering results and driving adoption

Why This Role Matters
Every successful implementation sets the tone for long-term customer success. You'll be the face of SubBase during a critical time in each client's journey - ensuring that our platform is not just adopted, but embraced, with measurable impact from day one.
What You'll Get
  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
  • Early-stage equity in a high-growth startup
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Fast-moving, collaborative, and mission-driven team
  • Clear path for career growth as the company scales

If this sounds like a fit, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your resume or cover letter to jobs@subbase.io.
