SynQor seeks a recent Engineering Bachelor's Degree graduate for the position of Manufacturing Process Engineer responsible for providing engineering support to high volume manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing and assembly process and methods to obtain maximum productivity levels
  • Identify and implement cost reductions
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
  • Instruct, help, guide, and mentor operators
  • Recommend engineering design changes as needed
  • Develop and maintain process work instructions
  • Data collection and analysis to drive continuous process improvement and root cause corrective action
  • Process control and process improvement activities

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical)
  • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred

Required Skills:
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes used in the electronics manufacturing industry. Examples include knowledge of SMT placement, reflow soldering, thru-hole soldering, hand assembly, and SMT repair.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
