Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role will focus on process optimization, continuous improvement, troubleshooting production issues, and driving efficiency, quality, and cost improvements. Experience in plastic injection molding is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and processing issues to minimize downtime.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Support new product launches, process validations, and equipment implementation.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Plastic injection molding experience strongly preferred.
