Job description


Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitors process performance and collects production data for engineering analysis.

  • Assists with troubleshooting process, equipment, and quality issues within manufacturing operations.

  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, quality, safety, and productivity.

  • Participates in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.

  • Maintains process documentation, work instructions, and engineering records.

  • Assists with process qualifications, equipment testing, and validation activities.

  • Supports data analysis and reporting using statistical and quality tools.

  • Collaborates with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to address manufacturing challenges.

  • Participates in DOE activities and process improvement projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Prepares technical summaries, reports, and presentations as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, materials, science or Physics field required.

  • 0-1 years of related engineering, manufacturing, research, internship, or co-op experience.

  • Semiconductor, vacuum systems, materials processing, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Exposure to statistical analysis or process improvement methodologies preferred.

Working Conditions
  • Office and clean room environment within the manufacturing plant, involving working with small to large equipment and exposure to low-level microwave energy and other hazardous chemicals.

Physical Requirements
  • Extended periods of sitting or standing

  • Able to lift to 50 lbs. regularly

  • Able to perform physical tasks in various positions: standing, crouching, kneeling, reaching

  • Some travel required
