Job description

Process Engineer – Metals Manufacturing & Plating
Aerospace & Defense Industry Opportunity
Are you an Engineer passionate about hands-on manufacturing and metals processing? We invite you to bring your experience—whether in stamping, forming, machining, or surface finishing—and take your career to the next level as a Process Engineer in our high-performance aerospace and defense manufacturing facility.
Discover & Learn: No Plating Experience Required!
We champion engineers with backgrounds in metals manufacturing, ready to expand their expertise into specialized plating processes. If you have a strong technical foundation and are eager to learn, you’ll get the guidance, training, and support to thrive in this critical area.
What You’ll Do
  • Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, including plating, for consistent quality and compliance
  • Troubleshoot and solve process issues (e.g., adhesion, thickness, surface finish, discoloration)—your metals experience is valued
  • Engage directly with production teams on the floor, supporting operators, supervisors, and quality staff
  • Develop, document, and improve process procedures, work instructions, and control plans
  • Analyze process data and recommend improvements to boost yield, throughput, and efficiency
  • Support new product and process introductions, from racking methods to parameter optimization
  • Work with chemistry suppliers and labs as needed, applying your metals knowledge to learn plating chemistry
  • Assist with internal and customer audits
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action
  • Collaborate on evaluating and implementing new equipment and manufacturing technologies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or related discipline)
  • Metals manufacturing experience (such as stamping, machining, forming, or other metal processing)
  • Previous plating experience is a plus—but not required; we’ll teach you the specifics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Effective communicator and team player
  • U.S. Citizenship required (due to industry regulations)
Why Apply?
Don’t miss this opportunity to leverage your metals expertise, develop new skillsets, and work alongside talented professionals making mission-critical parts for aerospace and defense. We’re looking for motivated engineers open to learning and growing in a collaborative, high-impact role.
Ready to take your metals experience further? Apply today and become a pivotal part of our team!
