Job description

You will be the Optical Pattern Operator for the Optical Components Center. Our team is responsible for ultraprecision machining and additive manufacturing that enable the development and production of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Optical Pattern Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining photolithographic production equipment in a cleanroom environment.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Set up, operate, and adjust photolithographic equipment, including coating, deposition, and cleaning stations.

  • Align and load optical parts into fixtures, applying pattern and deposition masks with manual and computercontrolled tools.

  • Perform metal liftoff, etch, and other micronscale processes while monitoring process parameters.

  • Inspect parts using gauges, microscopes, and electronic instruments; record results in production logs.

  • Maintain a cleanroom work area, follow safety procedures, and perform routine equipment maintenance.


Visual Acuity to correctable 20/20 is required.
