Job description

What you can do for PSL

  • Disposition discrepant material in timely manner and respond to high priority holds.
  • Maintain recipes that are reliable and accurate.
  • Support manufacturing teams with equipment qualification and new tool startups.
  • Be responsive to out of control events and react quickly with process groups.
  • Assist in the development of key technologies.
  • Support projects to drive continuous improvement in yield, operational efficiency, and cost.
  • Facilitate training for technicians and production specialists.
  • Analyze failed runs to identify the source of process errors and recommend process changes.

What PSL needs from you

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing techniques and statistics.
  • Working knowledge of SPC, Gage R&R, and Six-Sigma methodology.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must as this role will require in depth cooperation with multiple functions and manufacturing sections.
  • Skills in technical writing, computers, problem solving and organization.

Salary: The estimated base salary range for the position is $77,000-$90,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.

Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation: Includes health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, annual bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
