As part of the Industrial Controls portfolio, you will be responsible for; Industrial Controls, sensors, safety, connectivity and associated complementary product and solution offerings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Development: * Build relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. * Identify opportunities to grow sales within assigned territories by prospecting, networking, and following up on leads. * Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations to customers, showcasing the value of our products and services. * As part of the Industrial components team develop and deliver a yearly business plan with specific goals and sales targets. * Evaluate training needs of internal customers with the goal of making them self sufficient in Industrial Controls Products * Be the customer’s champion with suppliers to quickly find solutions for any technical or commercial issues. 1. Technical Expertise: * Develop a strong understanding of the company’s product portfolio, including electrical, automation, and energy solutions. * Collaborate with technical teams to provide accurate and effective solutions to customer challenges. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. 1. Customer Support: * Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the sales process. * Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships.   1. Professional Growth: * Participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and sales skills. * Shadow senior sales specialists to learn best practices and gain hands-on experience in complex sales scenarios. * Set and achieve performance goals aligned with the progression to a senior-level role. Collaboration: * Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions. * Provide feedback to product management and marketing teams to improve offerings and address customer needs. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Technologist, or related discipline) or equivalent experience. * 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a technical role (internships or co-op experience considered). * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. * Technical aptitude and willingness to learn about complex products and solutions. * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to take on challenges. * Valid driver’s license, passport and ability to travel within assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in the electrical, automation, or energy industries. * Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. * Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
