INCERTEC Florida is seeking an experienced and dedicated Metal Plater to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various metal plating techniques to components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform metal plating operations using techniques such as electroplating, anodizing, and other surface finishing processes.
  • Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning, degreasing, and masking as required.
  • Monitor plating baths and adjust chemical compositions to maintain proper plating conditions.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot plating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Document and report production activities and any issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal plating or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of recent plating experience in at least two different finishes.
  • Strong understanding of plating processes, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
  • Intermediate math skills and ability to read work instructions in and complete paperwork accurately in workplace English.
  • Experience with blue print reading and measuring equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a manufacturing environment.
