Position Overview

The Field Inspector supports the Field Inspection Manager in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of outside plant (OSP) construction and fiber optic installations. The Field Inspector is responsible for verifying that construction standards, design specifications, and regulatory requirements are met throughout a project's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform site inspections to monitor active construction to ensure compliance.

- Audit work quality of aerial and underground installation techniques.

- Ensure crews are documenting and reporting all production, design changes, etc.

- Document detailed field notes, take progress photos, and update construction maps.

- Identify, report, and follow up on non-compliance issues until resolved.

- Possess the ability to read and understand construction maps and permits.

- Possess the ability to communicate effectively with crews, project managers, and stakeholders.

- Provide customer service when interacting with homeowners.

- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
