Job Summary

The Director, Process and Documentation is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of organizational policies and procedures. This position combines leadership skills with process expertise to guide in creating comprehensive documentation that enhances efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams to understand strategic objectives and align process documentation with business goals.
  • Oversee the development, revision, and rollout of process documentation—including policies, manuals, control procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)—to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct high‑level process analysis to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to address these areas effectively.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote understanding and adherence to new and existing procedures across the organization.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, gathering feedback to continuously refine and enhance processes and procedures.
  • Report on process improvement initiatives and documentation effectiveness to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for further development.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in processing documentation and improvement, with a proven track record of leadership in the commercial loan servicing or financial services industry.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to simplify complex information.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools, Content Management Systems, and other related software.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
