Job Summary:

Provides leadership and oversight for assigned service areas within the HR Solutions Center, ensuring effective service delivery, compliance, and a positive employee and manager experience.

Area Directors oversee specialized functional teams and are accountable for strategic planning, continuous improvement, and alignment of processes across HR operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for assigned HR Solutions Center functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage and develop Managers, Supervisors, Senior Specialists, and staff to achieve performance excellence and professional growth.
  • Oversee and audit operational results across area of specialty; hold subordinate leaders and staff accountable for accuracy, compliance, and service-level performance.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services that meet organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement and adoption of technology to strengthen processes, reduce errors, and improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership, IT, and vendors to align systems and services with business needs.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and deliverables to ensure measurable results.
  • Promote a culture of collegiality, inclusion, accountability, and customer service sensitivity across the Solutions Center.
  • Serve as the escalation point within specialty for complex or sensitive issues, ensuring resolutions reinforce trust and professionalism.
  • Lead change management efforts continually to improve processes, staff engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Displays teamwork-focused engagement and flexibility to perform other tasks and ad hoc responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or commensurate experience required
  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • CLMS and/or SHRM certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor partnerships
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and systems
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills
