Who You Are:

Our Global Process Owners are empowered with executive sponsorship and formal decision rights to set standards, approve changes, and resolve misalignment. This is a builder role for a leader who can think strategically and stay hands on, define and enforce standards, lead process design, and guide implementation to leave a lasting operational fingerprint on how QTS runs.

The Impact You Will Have:

As the Director of Process Excellence, you will define the enterprise process architecture that enables scale, speed, and decision clarity. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, execution, and transformation, you will own connected process areas end to end, align them to enterprise goals, and lead the design of standardized, scalable ways of working across functions. You will set global process requirements, identify gaps between current and future state, and drive adoption through clear standards, governance, and enablement. You will lead a team of Global Process Owners who partner with business leaders to develop and mature processes within assigned areas of the business.

What You Will Do:

  • Architect a scalable GPO engagement model that enables consistent execution across business lines, and includes key areas such as Plan-to-Build, Source-to-Play, Acquire-to-Operate, Hire-to-Retire, and Lead-to-Lease.
  • Set enterprise process requirements for enterprise technology initiatives (ERP, workflow, analytics), ensuring solutions enable standardized global processes and scalable future-state operations.
  • Set the standard for enterprise process documentation, including process catalogs, standards, SOPs, and KPI dashboards.
  • Define process requirements and standards that inform technology roadmaps; partner with technology owners to ensure configuration supports standardized processes.
  • Establish and maintain the enterprise process taxonomy and standards, including definitions, ownership, controls, and documentation expectations.
  • Align enterprise process standards and review councils review strategic goals, performance, and ensure process governance integrates with enterprise initiative governance.
  • Establish, produce, and maintain any associated KPI performance metrics, compliance control monitoring, and decision-making escalation.
  • Design and launch the Global Process Owner Playbook, establishing the foundation for how GPOs operate enterprisewide.
  • Lead the Global Process Owners to map current and future state workflows, handoffs, and ownership overlaps.
  • Ensure adoption of process standards through training guidance, communications, and compliance reinforcement in partnership with change and business leaders.
  • Partner with integration and analytics teams to ensure process performance measures, reporting, and controls are supported by the required system and data capabilities
  • Establish a fact-based view of process performance and variation using process analytics and mining insights to identify bottlenecks, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Build executive and cross-functional partnerships to drive process standardization and serve as final decision authority for cross-domain process conflicts.
  • Build a team of and directly manage the Global Process Owners.
  • Ability to travel on average 25% of the time, building in-person connections and developing strong relationships with stakeholders.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Information Systems, or related field, or previous equivalent experience.
  • Ten or more years of progressive professional experience, including senior leadership roles in business operations, process management, consulting, transformation, or related disciplines.
  • Five or more years of experience in global process management, process optimization, and enterprise change initiatives.
  • Two or more years of people leadership experience with direct supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong command of process improvement and operational excellence methods (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM), applied in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency and experience working with process modeling and documentation tools; ability to translate process standards into system requirements and controls.

  • Demonstrated experience acting as an end-to-end global process owner or equivalent enterprise role.
  • Experience operating in highly matrixed, global organizations.
  • Experience with process mining and analysis platforms (e.g. Celonis or similar) is a plus

  • Experience with integrated business planning (IBP) and system data integrations is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
