Looking for more than just another sales job? Join ID-Tech Solutions, an award-winning IT and Low Voltage solutions provider serving businesses throughout New Jersey and New York. We help organizations stay connected, secure, and productive through innovative technology solutions—and we're looking for driven sales professionals who want to grow with us.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in growing our business by finding new opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and helping move those opportunities through the sales process. If you're competitive, personable, motivated, and excited about sales and technology, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our IT services business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has a natural hunter mentality, enjoys connecting with people, and is hungry to learn and succeed.

You don't need to be an IT expert. A basic understanding of technology is helpful, but curiosity, drive, personality, and a genuine interest in learning about IT are more important. You'll work alongside our technical team, giving you the opportunity to develop both your sales and technology knowledge as you grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Research potential customers, consistently follow up with prospects, and build a strong sales pipeline.

Sales Cycle Management

  • Build relationships with prospects and help move opportunities from initial outreach through the sales process.
  • Participate in discovery meetings and presentations alongside experienced team members.
  • Follow up on proposals and opportunities and develop the skills to negotiate and close new business.

Solution Development

  • Participate in client meetings to learn about customer needs and understand how our IT services can help.
  • Collaborate with our technical team to develop solutions while serving as a consistent point of contact for prospects.

Proposal & Follow-Up

  • Assist with proposals and sales documentation and ensure prospects receive timely and accurate information.
  • Consistently follow up on proposals, questions, and next steps to keep opportunities moving forward.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and other prospective clients.
  • Provide a professional, personable experience throughout the sales process and develop long-term client relationships.

Industry & Product Expertise

  • Develop your knowledge of IT services, solutions, and emerging technologies through hands-on experience and collaboration with the team.
  • Stay curious about technology, customer needs, market trends, and new opportunities for the business.

Account Growth

  • Stay connected with customers and identify opportunities for additional services or solutions.
  • Work with the team to strengthen existing customer relationships and uncover new business opportunities.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of sales or technical experience to succeed here. If you have the drive, personality, and willingness to learn, we'll give you the opportunity to develop your skills, learn the industry, and grow with the company.

If you're ready to challenge yourself and build a career in IT sales, we'd love to hear from you.
