Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Data Systems Process Development is an executive-facing technical leadership role responsible for defining, architecting, and advancing enterprise data systems that enable scalable business process transformation, operational intelligence, and informed decision-making. This position provides strategic and technical direction for data engineering, software development, systems integration, and enterprise platform evolution, ensuring that data architecture, application design, and process technology solutions are aligned with long-term business objectives.

This leader is accountable for developing and governing the technical architecture required to support enterprise data management, data quality, system interoperability, analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled business capabilities. The role partners closely with business process leaders, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to translate operational needs into scalable, secure, and sustainable data-driven solutions. This position also leads the evaluation and responsible adoption of artificial intelligence capabilities by ensuring that underlying data structures, governance practices, integration patterns, and system architectures are prepared to support reliable and value-driven transformation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish the enterprise technical vision, architecture strategy, and roadmap for business process technology platforms, data systems, and integrated application capabilities. 
  • Partner with Business Process leadership and executive stakeholders to define investment priorities, data product portfolio direction, and integration strategies across enterprise business systems.
  • Architect scalable technical data systems that support enterprise data management, business process automation, reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.
  • Translate complex business needs into technical architecture, system design approaches, data models, integration patterns, and implementation priorities that support enterprise process transformation.
  • Provide technical leadership for data engineering, software development, database design, application integration, and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Establish governance for enterprise data architecture, data storage, data stewardship, data integrity, system scalability, and compliance-aligned data practices.
  • Define and guide architecture standards for database-driven, web-hosted applications, including data structures, system interfaces, performance considerations, and maintainability.
  • Lead the development of technical roadmaps for data platforms, analytics capabilities, reporting environments, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, platforms, and architectural patterns to strengthen enterprise data capabilities and improve long-term system performance.
  • Provide strategic leadership in the evaluation, adoption, and governance of artificial intelligence solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational readiness, data integrity, and responsible use standards.
  • Serve as a senior technical liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, data engineering resources, and executive leadership to ensure alignment between business priorities and technical execution.
  • Establish prioritization, governance, and execution discipline for technical initiatives across the Business Process Development portfolio.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are designed for scalability, reliability, maintainability, data quality, and measurable business impact.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing technical organization by mentoring data engineers, software developers, business intelligence resources, and emerging technical leaders
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and disciplined architecture practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Sciences Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of budgetary process
  • Demonstrated success leading technical organizations, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering complex initiatives with measurable business impact
  • 8+ years of experience working in a similar role
  • 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible management or leadership roles

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Strong background in technical data systems architecture, database architecture, data modeling, data mining, business intelligence, enterprise data management, statistical analysis, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solution design.
  • Experience architecting or overseeing database-driven, web-hosted applications and integrated business systems.
  • Advanced experience with relational databases, complex SQL queries, data structures, and data integration concepts.
  • Data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, data quality, integration, transformation, and stewardship.
  • Business intelligence, analytics enablement, reporting platforms, and operational data visualization concepts.
  • Software development lifecycle practices and governance for enterprise application delivery.
  • Systems integration concepts, including interfaces between business platforms, applications, and data repositories.
  • Technical evaluation of platforms, tools, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Ability to align data architecture, software solutions, and business process technology with enterprise objectives.

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $124,000 - 135,000 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
