The Senior Engineering Manager (Stevens Point) is responsible for leading manufacturing and engineering functions to deliver highquality products while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across engineering teams, oversees capital investment planning and execution, and supports product and process development aligned with business objectives. Qualified candidates must be able toworkan on-site schedule at ourStevens Point, WI facility.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop engineering and technical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and highquality production.

  • Balance workload and resource allocation across Manufacturing Engineers to meet operational priorities.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Define and manage a 2-3 year CapEx plan aligned with plant and business strategy.

  • Execute capital projects, including scope definition, budget control, timeline management, and performance tracking.

  • Maintain asset inventory and ensure effective asset lifecycle and reliability management.

  • Drive process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Lead uptime improvement efforts and provide leadership for emergency work orders.

  • Apply Lean and World Class Manufacturing principles and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Influence product and process design to support manufacturability, quality, and cost competitiveness.

  • Support Accelerated Product Development (APD) processes and ensure manufacturing readiness.

  • Define testing requirements for quality systems, control plans, and first article inspections.

  • Take ownership of assigned strategic initiatives, demonstrate mastery in leading crossfunctional teams, and maintain budget accountability, including forecast responsibilities for the team or department.

  • Regularly communicate with and effectively influence global peers within the organization, as well as customers and partners as required by job scope; occasionally communicate with executive leadership on specific initiatives.

  • Solve complex, ambiguous, and highrisk problems while leading impactful change that systematically improves products, processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Manage medium to large teams consisting of professionals, managers, and/or supervisors; mentor, train, and onboard other managers or aspiring leaders.

  • Make decisions that have significant impact on business unit products, processes, and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a technically-related field

  • Prior leadership experience

  • Experience with budget, Capital expenditures (CapEx) strategy and creation

  • Ability to develop Manufacturing Process/ Equipment/ and manage supplies to completion.

  • Master's degree in engineering

  • Lean / World Class Manufacturing experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Oracle

  • Project management experience (PMO)

  • Experience with new product development

  • Knowledge of Hydraulics and Applications
