Position Summary
Set up and operate cut to length line. Provide prepared steel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Productively set up, operate and adjust, automatic cut to length, leveler, blaster and edge coating equipment.
  • Perform in-process and final inspection using various measuring instruments.
  • Conduct and report steel inventory as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma
  • 0-3 months experience
  • Ability to communicate with others both written and verbally

LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to communicate, read and write in English

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Intermediate Shop Math

REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints including geometric dimensioning

COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Ability to do basic data entry

Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 AM 5-PM (may vary by area in department). Job requires overtime. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with prior notice.
