We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and compassionate Assistant Business Office Manager to join our skilled nursing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to grow their career in long-term care while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

24 hour a week position

Responsibilities
  • Assist with resident admissions, financial records, and account management.
  • Support the Medicaid and Medicare application and billing processes.
  • Assist with resident trust funds and petty cash management.
  • Maintain accurate resident financial files and documentation.
  • Work with residents and families regarding insurance coverage, billing, and financial questions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
  • Assist with accounts receivable, collections, and payment posting.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a smooth admission and discharge process.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Office Manager.
  • Perform other business office duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or business office preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party insurance is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
