Ultrasound Clinic Assistant - Competition #2026-755

Position Status: Temporary (6 Months) Full-Time

EFW Radiology is currently seeking an Ultrasound Clinic Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care!

The Role:

The Ultrasound Clinic Assistant works closely with EFW staff and physicians to ensure exceptional patient care through clerical tasks, chaperoning, pre/post procedure and exam care.

Reporting to: This position directly reports to the Ultrasound Supervisor.

Role Overview:

  • Acknowledge and assist patients, family members, and visitors upon arrival.
  • Supports receptionists with registration of patients as necessary.
  • Perform clerical tasks, including checking clinic templates, verifying patient and referring physician information, and ensuring timely delivery of STAT reports.
  • Handle administrative duties such as document processing.
  • Assist with clinical tasks related to the Ultrasound modality, such as escorting patients, advising on exam preparation, and potentially assisting with pediatric scans (clinic-dependent).
  • Follow privacy and confidentiality policies regarding patient and employee information.
  • Assist in stocking procedure rooms, act as a chaperone as needed, and handle tasks related to baby photos.
  • Demonstrates EFW values of Compassion, Trust, and Meaning in the workplace.
  • Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

You have the following:

  • Medical Office Assistant, Medical experience and/or Healthcare Aide preferred.
  • Medical terminology course and medical experience would be a great asset.
  • Strong computer skills with a demonstrated ability to learn numerous computer programs quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Has professional demeanor and can work independently or within a team.
