YOUR DAY AS A DISTRICT MANAGER

As a new District Manager at Imperial Cleaning, your day-to-day expectations will involve overseeing multiple locations within the New York Metro Area. You will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded. Your tasks will include conducting regular site visits, providing support and training to staff, and implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while keeping you engaged with your teams. However, you will also be on-call for emergencies as needed, requiring quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.

This role demands an empathetic approach to leadership, so you can expect to foster strong relationships with both employees and clients, ensuring a high-performing and customer-centric environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Establish working relationships with Clients.
  • Perform required location inspections and touchbases ( minimum of 1x ins and 2 TB per qtr).
  • Report and resolve Inspection deficiencies. Urgent within 24 hours.
  • Managing Staff:
  • Screen, Hire, Onboard, and Terminate staff.
  • Train Custodial Technicians supporting Area Sups & Acs .
  • New Account setup oversight.
  • Assist to training staff with Clocking In/Out as needed.
  • Monitoring employee time and attendance.
  • Manage daily staffing schedules and adjust accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Conduct weekly payroll.
  • Report accidents/injury.
  • Address and resolve any employee performance issues.
  • Notify HR/Payroll and Operations of ALL staffing changes.
  • On-Call for Emergency situations/calls - evenings and weekends.
  • Create Supply Orders as needed.
  • Submit service requests to the office.
  • Update account spreadsheet as directed.
  • Responsible for KPIs within region.
  • Performing Performance Reviews for direct reports.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Commercial cleaning industry a plus.
  • Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
  • Detail oriented and strong communication skills (email, phone).
  • Results oriented: the ability to resolve challenges and emergencies at a moments notice.
  • Multi task oriented: The ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Customer focused with a can-do approach to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Working Knowledge of email, spreadsheets, smartphone and relevant software applications.

  • Strong unwavering ability to use technology.
