Job Summary

This job entails leading the design and implementation of security measures for identity and access management. It involves ensuring compliance with organizational standards. It also involves coordinating with Cybersecurity Operations and Application Development teams, reviewing business requirements, and maintaining security solutions. The role contributes to safeguarding critical systems and data by optimizing system performance and documenting operational procedures. Work may require a flexible schedule.

Key ResponsibilitiesIdentity Platform Operations & Support
  • Provide operational support for Okta and related IAM platforms.
  • Monitor identity systems and respond to incidents, service requests, and escalations.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, SSO, MFA, federation, and user provisioning issues.
  • Perform routine platform maintenance, configuration updates, and health checks.
  • Assist with user lifecycle management activities, including provisioning and de-provisioning.
Application Onboarding & Access Management Support
  • Support onboarding of enterprise applications into the IAM ecosystem.
  • Assist application teams in configuring SSO, MFA, and federation integrations.
  • Validate application configurations and participate in testing activities.
  • Support role and entitlement management processes.
  • Maintain documentation for integrations, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
Incident Response & Problem Management
  • Investigate access-related incidents and service disruptions.
  • Analyze logs and system data to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations as required.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and vendors when necessary.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work with security, infrastructure, and application teams to improve service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of operational procedures and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in Agile team ceremonies and support documentation of requirements and support processes.
  • Continuously expand technical skills through training, certifications, and hands-on experience.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

2-5 years of experience supporting Identity and Access Management, enterprise applications, or information technology systems.

Basic understanding of IAM concepts.

Familiarity with identity protocols such as: SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0.

Experience troubleshooting application access and authentication issues.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Okta Customer Identity Cloud or Auth0.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Okta Certified Professional or willingness to obtain certification within the first year.

New Jersey Pay Range: $86,645.37 - $129,968.05 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
