ServiceNow System Administrator, TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Fort Meade, MD
The qualified ServiceNow System Administrator must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. This position is 100% Onsite.
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Systems Administrator to join the team in support of Federal Government clients. As the ServiceNow Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing ServiceNow instances, ensuring system performance, and implementing new features and functionalities.
ServiceNow System Administrator Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow instances, including user management, role-based access control, and security settings.
- Implement, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems, data sets and tools used by Federal Government clients.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues reported by users.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including admin guides, knowledge articles and user manuals.
- Stay current with ServiceNow updates, patches, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
ServiceNow System Administrator Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
- ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, customization, and integration.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Familiarity with scripting languages, such as JavaScript and PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
ServiceNow System Administrator Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ServiceNow Advanced System Administrator Certification.
- Experience working with Federal Government clients and understanding of their unique requirements.
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Human Resources (HR), and Customer Service Management (CSM) ServiceNow applications.
