Title:ย Managing Directorย 

Compensation:ย $90,000 - $100,000/year +ย Bonusย 

Schedule:ย Full-Time; Monday โ€“ Fridayย ย 

Location:ย Westlake Village, CAย 

We areย seekingย a strategic and results-driven Managing Director to lead day-to-day operations across all departments and service lines within our organization. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to turn vision into action by driving operational excellence, financial performance, team accountability, and an exceptional client experience. The Managing Director will oversee cross-functional operations including Physical Therapy, Kitchen, Lab, Strength, and Front Desk teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on growth and continuous improvement.ย 

Whatย Youโ€™llย Do:ย 

  • Translate organizational vision into actionable goals, operating plans, and measurable KPIsย ย 

  • Lead andย facilitateย leadership meetings while ensuring accountability and follow-through on prioritiesย ย 

  • Oversee operational alignment across all departments to ensure consistency, efficiency, and collaborationย ย 

  • Monitor financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, billing, collections, and expense managementย ย 

  • Identifyย operational challenges and implement strategic solutions to improve efficiency and outcomesย ย 

  • Oversee facility operations to ensure a clean, safe, and client-ready environmentย ย 

  • Manage vendor relationships, equipment oversight, and capital improvement needsย ย 

  • Improve cross-functional workflows to create a seamless client experience across all service linesย ย 

  • Partner with leadership on strategic marketing initiatives and external partnershipsย ย 

  • Review business and marketing metrics to support revenue growth and operational capacityย ย 

  • Directly supervise department leaders and key administrative staffย ย 

  • Conduct coaching, performance management, goal setting, and employee development initiativesย ย 

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and high performanceย 

  • Serve as a professional point of contact for agents, clients, and partners by providing support through in-person meetings, calls, and operational follow-upย ย 

  • Represent the organization within the community by supporting youth programs, building relationships, and increasing community engagement and participationย ย 

  • Respond to urgent or emergency facility-related calls and operational matters outside of regular business hours as neededย 

Whatย Youโ€™llย Need to Succeed:ย 

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership or operations management experience in a multi-department or service-based organizationย ย 

  • 3+ years of direct experience managing managers, department heads, budgets, and KPIsย ย 

  • 2+ years of experience with inventory control, invoice review, and operational financial oversightย ย 

  • Experience working with high-touch or confidential clientele and vendor relationships preferredย ย 

  • Experience in sports performance, healthcare, hospitality, wellness, or related industries strongly preferredย 

  • Strong operational and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L exposureย ย 

  • Proven success improving systems, driving efficiency, and supporting organizational growthย ย 

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align teamsย ย 

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentย ย 

  • Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with strong decision-making abilitiesย ย 

  • Experience in sports performance, healthcare, fitness, wellness, or related industries preferredย ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Sports Management, or related field preferredย ย 

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtainย ย 

  • Experience with social media platforms, AI tools, Canva, or related operational/branding tools is a plusย
