Job description

Overview of the Position 

Students for Life of America is seeking a Standing With You  Campus Coordinator to support and expand our efforts. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to receive hands-on training from experienced grassroots nonprofit leaders. The coordinator will be responsible for driving the growth and success of the Standing With You initiative—equipping and mentoring student leaders, connecting pregnant and parenting students to critical resources, and advancing supportive services on campuses nationwide. This position reports to the Executive Vice President.  

Responsibilities 

Standing With You Directory & Resource Coordination 

  • Maintain and update the StandingWithYou.org directory and related digital platforms in collaboration with the Marketing team 

  • Connect pregnant and parenting students with Regional Coordinators and appropriate local resources 

  • Connect women and families in need with vetted community support services 

  • Coordinate with external partners (e.g., Heartbeat International, OptionLine) to ensure service quality and track/report usage data 

  • Ensure all state schools have an active Pregnancy Help Page within the Standing With You directory 

Campus Programming & Student Support 

  • Mentor student groups on campus policies and pregnancy accommodation advocacy 

  • Co-lead and support the Standing With You Fellowship in partnership with the Leadership Initiatives team 

  • Manage and execute the Standing With You Diaper Fund program 

  • Oversee the distribution and use of Standing With You kits (campus kits, church kits, and Mama/Baby Shower kits) 

  • Coordinate with the Operations team on inventory, ordering, and shipment of all program materials 

Partnerships & Program Management 

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with Pregnancy Help Organizations (PHOs) 

  • Manage the PHO Partner Program, including regular communication and kit distribution 

  • Oversee key partnerships, including:  

  • EveryLife Diaper Drive (annual) 

  • Held in Hope Miscarriage Kit initiative 

  • Care Kit partnerships 

  • Represent Standing With You at the annual Heartbeat International Conference 

Scholarship & Strategic Initiatives 

  • Support administration of the Standing With You Scholars Fund 

  • Coordinate annual scholarship application review and committee processes 

  • Champion SFLA’s Generational Win Three: Defending our most vulnerable, starting with ending abortion 

Marketing & Outreach Support 

  • Collaborate on marketing plans for programs and initiatives 

  • Contribute to campaign execution across channels, including:  

  • Social media campaigns 

  • Video content 

  • Text messaging outreach 

Reporting, Strategy & Leadership Support 

  • Track program performance, measure impact, and recommend improvements 

  • Provide weekly reporting to the Executive Vice President 

  • Lead and execute special projects as assigned 

Position Details 

Position Type 

  • This is a full-time salaried position working at least 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours can be somewhat flexible by request.  

Physical Demands 

  • Must have the ability to operate technical equipment such as a computer and sit for extended periods of time.   

  • Must be able to withstand long periods of driving.   

  • Other physical demands may include: setting up displays, walking around campuses, standing during display times, walking outside for long periods of time (door to door canvassing) and participating in local and national pro-life marches.  

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds. 

Travel 

  • Occasional travel may be required 

Work Authorization 

  • Must be able to successfully complete an I-9.  The I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.

Qualifications 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or legislative affairs is a plus. 

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks and environments.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
