About Tennis Club of Hastings
The Tennis Club of Hastings (TCH) is a community-driven club located along the Hudson River,
offering high-quality tennis programming for all ages and levels. Our mission is to create a welcoming
environment where players can grow their game, build lasting connections, and enjoy the sport.
Position Summary
TCH is seeking a passionate and energetic Tennis Professional to join our coaching staff. The ideal
candidate is experienced in teaching juniors and adults, enthusiastic about growing the game, and able
to foster both recreational and competitive pathways.
Responsibilities
- Deliver private and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults at varying skill levels.
- Lead clinics, camps, and specialized programs (youth development, high school prep, adult drills, etc.).
- Engage members and create a positive, welcoming atmosphere on and off the court.
- Assist in program development, member events, and seasonal programming.
- Provide player evaluations and class placement recommendations.
- Represent TCH’s values of professionalism, inclusivity, and community.
- Qualifications USPTA or PTR certification (preferred but not required).
- Previous teaching experience
with juniors, adults, or both.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Competitive playing background is a plus.
