Position Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: $10 per racket strung


Position Summary:
The Mt. Lebanon Racket Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tennis Stringer to provide racket stringing services for our tennis community. This is an independent contractor position offering flexible scheduling and a steady volume of rackets during peak seasons.


Responsibilities:

  • String tennis rackets to customer specifications (tension, string type, pattern)
  • Inspect rackets for damage and notify staff/customers of any concerns
  • Maintain consistency and quality in all stringing work
  • Manage turnaround times to ensure timely completion of orders
  • Communicate with front desk staff regarding completed and pending rackets
  • Maintain a clean and organized stringing workspace


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience stringing tennis rackets required
  • Knowledge of different string types, tensions, and racket patterns
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to manage workload independently
  • Reliable and responsive with good communication skills


Additional Information:
