Job description

RN (Registered Nurse) Pediatric Surgery Center- PRN- Up to $74.20/ Hour

Interim Healthcare is looking to add to our dynamic team of Healthcare professionals! Make an impact daily in the lives of patients while providing excellent care, and in the lives of your co-workers as you work together as a cohesive team as well as improving community health and wellness. Grow professionally and personally as you work in the top medical facilities in the Twin Cities Metro area. This immediate need need is in a children's dental surgery center but specific dental surgery experience is not required.

Schedule

The shift is 7am-3:30pm. The schedule will vary based on client needs. Staff must have weekday availability Monda-Friday.

Pay

$63.60 to $74.20/ Hour depending on experience

Essential Job Duties
  • Assisting with pre-operative preparation, including patient assessments, medication administration, and patient/family education
  • Monitoring patients throughout the surgical process, including vital signs, sedation, and pain management
  • Providing post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, recovery monitoring, and discharge preparation
  • Communicating with patients and families to provide education and support throughout the surgical experience
  • Collaborating with members of the clinical team to ensure safe and coordinated patient care
  • Completing timely and accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to support excellent patient care
Requirements
  • ADNdegree
  • Current RN license with the State of MN
  • Current ACLS or PALS
  • Experience working in pre-op, post-op/ PACU
