Overview

Office Location: 2340 South Carson St., Ste. B, Carson City, NV 89701   
Coverage area: Carson City  

Schedule: (Overnight) Fri-Mon, 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Our On-Call RNs play a crucial role in end-of-life care, stepping in during off-hours to bring relief, clarity, and compassion when it's needed most. COMPASSION CARE HOSPICE is seeking a passionate, dedicated RN to join our team in Carson City, NV. As a On-Call RN You will:     

  • Deliver hands-on care to hospice patients and offer supportive services to their families during after-hours, on an on-call basis 
  • Assess and manage urgent symptoms quickly and compassionately 
  • Administer medication or adjust care based on hospice protocols or provider orders 
  • Communicate with the physician regarding changes in condition and obtain orders as necessary 
  • Offer guidance and support to the patient and family in understanding the current condition and anticipating the next steps
