Position Overview
Treston Security Services is currently hiring an Operations Security Manager to support daily security operations, client site management, officer supervision, field inspections, scheduling support, incident response, and overall account performance.
The Operations Security Manager will serve as a key field leader for the company and will be responsible for ensuring assigned sites are properly staffed, officers are performing their duties, post orders are being followed, client expectations are being met, and operational issues are handled quickly and professionally.
This position requires a hands-on leader who is dependable, organized, professional, and able to manage multiple sites, officers, and client concerns. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in the field, responding to issues, coaching officers, communicating with clients, and supporting company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
The Operations Security Manager will be responsible for conducting site visits, checking officer performance, verifying coverage, assisting with call-offs, supporting last-minute scheduling needs, responding to incidents, and ensuring officers are following company policies, post orders, uniform standards, and client expectations.
Additional responsibilities include communicating with clients, addressing site-level concerns, assisting with new account startups, completing reports, conducting officer inspections, supporting investigations, reviewing incidents, assisting with employee coaching, and escalating serious issues to company leadership when needed.
The manager may also assist with training new officers, reviewing post orders with staff, confirming officers are properly equipped, supporting scheduling and dispatch needs, handling emergency coverage, and ensuring all assigned accounts operate at a high standard.
Common Duties May Include
Conducting patrol checks, visiting multiple client sites, inspecting officer uniforms, reviewing pass-down logs, checking reporting activity, responding to client complaints, assisting with employee call-offs, supporting post coverage, handling officer issues, responding to incidents, reviewing site conditions, and completing field operation reports.
The Operations Security Manager may also be required to assist with special projects, event deployments, emergency site coverage, new client onboarding, employee briefings, equipment checks, and operational follow-ups as needed.
Requirements
Applicants must have a valid guard card or applicable state security license, prior security supervision or management experience, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, professional appearance, and open availability.
Applicants must be able to work independently, make sound decisions, manage multiple priorities, respond to operational issues, and professionally communicate with officers, clients, vendors, property managers, and company leadership.
Must be comfortable working days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency shifts when needed. Must also be able to stand, walk, drive to multiple locations, respond to field concerns, and remain professional in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a field supervisor, operations manager, account manager, security manager, patrol supervisor, scheduling supervisor, or site supervisor is preferred.
Experience managing multiple security sites, handling client communication, assisting with officer discipline, completing reports, reviewing post orders, and supporting 24/7 security operations is highly preferred.
Pay Rate
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE
