About the Role

Looking for a stable position in a one-of-a-kind outdoor setting?

We are currently hiring a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to support operations at Garvan Woodland Gardens, a highly recognized botanical garden and event destination managed by the University of Arkansas.

This position involves maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for daily visitors, private events, and special gatherings. Ideal candidates will bring a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Dynamic Integrated Security provides the necessary training for state-required licensing as a Private Security Officer (PSO) or Commissioned Security Officer (CSO), in accordance with Arkansas regulations.

Primary Duties
  • Perform routine patrols across gardens, trails, parking areas, and event locations
  • Manage entry points and monitor guest access
  • Conduct security checks of facilities, including restrooms and buildings
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned
  • Respond appropriately to incidents such as medical situations, weather events, or safety concerns
  • Work alongside local authorities and emergency personnel when required
  • Offer courteous assistance and directions to visitors
  • Document daily activities and complete incident reports
  • Assist with event security, including private functions and weddings
  • Monitor compliance with alcoholrelated policies during events

    Qualifications

    Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
