Wednesday & Thursday, 4:00pm-1:00am

Friday 4:00pm-10:30pm

Saturday & Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm

The Part Time Unarmed Security Officer on the Swing Shift plays a vital role in maintaining safety and order at Magnolia Town Center. This position requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies effectively. Officers will enforce City ordinances, and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with all site-specific policies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle patrols of assigned City parks, office buildings, and facilities as outlined in Post Orders
  • Staff office or lobby desk positions as assigned
  • Enforce City ordinances and select vehicle code sections; make arrests or issue citations in accordance with policy
  • Wear uniform and full duty belt including firearm, baton, pepper spray, handcuffs, and flashlight
  • Communicate professionally with the public, co-workers, vendors, and City staff
  • Respond to emergency calls involving fire, medical emergencies, or property damage
  • Investigate security complaints and complete documentation in accordance with policy
  • Generate and submit electronic Incident Reports, parking warnings, and maintenance reports using a mobile app
  • Operate under general supervision of Site Supervisor, Quality Control Manager, or Client Manager
  • Maintain consistent attendance, uniform appearance, and professional conduct

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in security services
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California Guard Registration (Guard Card)
  • Proficiency in incident reporting and emergency response procedures
  • Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and ability to pass firearm qualification
  • Strong oral communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Outstanding customer service abilities and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods
