Job Description

Code 4 Private Security is accepting applications for Unarmed Security Guards for current and upcoming assignments throughout Los Angeles County. This is a general open position used to build our candidate pool for future placements at a variety of sites, including schools, residential communities, commercial properties, construction sites, and special events.

Qualified candidates will be contacted as positions become available that match their availability, experience, and location preferences.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as assigned
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas
  • Observe and report suspicious or unsafe activity
  • Enforce site rules and company policies
  • Write clear Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and contact law enforcement when necessary

Requirements

  • Valid California Guard Card (required)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred (not required):

  • Previous security or customer service experience
  • CPR / First Aid certification

Schedule & Availability

Shifts vary by site and may include days, swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.
