Job description

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage for multiple commercial properties in the Salisbury, MO area. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, driving between client locations, and helping protect property through routine patrols and proactive observation.
The selected officer will conduct scheduled vehicle patrols, inspect assigned sites, identify potential security concerns, and prepare accurate documentation throughout each shift. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of making sound decisions while working with limited supervision.

Schedule
  • Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Sunday: 6:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities
Mobile Patrol Operations
  • Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols at multiple assigned client properties.
  • Drive established patrol routes while maintaining a visible security presence.
  • Inspect building exteriors, parking areas, gates, fences, and surrounding grounds.
  • Check doors, access points, and perimeter areas to help ensure facilities remain secure.
  • Identify unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, property damage, or safety hazards.

Incident Response
  • Investigate unusual conditions and determine appropriate action based on site procedures.
  • Respond to alarms, unlocked doors, or other security-related concerns when assigned.
  • Report emergencies, maintenance issues, or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
  • Help protect client property by remaining alert throughout each patrol.

Reporting & Documentation
  • Complete daily patrol logs and incident reports accurately.
  • Record observations, security concerns, and actions taken during each shift.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and dispatch personnel.
  • Follow all company policies, client instructions, and post orders.

Professional Service
  • Represent Citadel Security USA with professionalism and integrity.
  • Exercise good judgment while working independently.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle during overnight shifts.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining situational awareness.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in mobile patrol, private security, military, law enforcement, or related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience preparing incident reports and activity documentation.
  • Familiarity with commercial property patrol procedures.
