Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Location- West Pasco (Float Required)
General Description
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at Premier Community HealthCare Group (PCHG) provides comprehensive primary care services within the Family Medicine and Pediatric departments. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, including the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, health promotion, and disease prevention. The APRN will float our West Pasco locations to help provide coverage and work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care and improve health outcomes across the communities we serve.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive, age-appropriate primary care services within scope of practice in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based practices and minimally invasive techniques
  • Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with care team members to ensure coordinated, seamless patient care
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) in compliance with organizational standards
  • Review, manage, and address daily clinical tasks to maintain productivity and meet encounter goals
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as assigned
  • Support onboarding, mentoring, and training of new providers and clinical staff as needed
  • Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) and leadership teams to support quality improvement initiatives (QI/QA)
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure patient confidentiality at all times
  • Identify and communicate patient care concerns through appropriate channels
  • Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow and addressing operational challenges
  • Engage in community outreach and support initiatives aligned with PCHG's mission
  • Contribute to achieving departmental and organizational performance goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), preferably Epic

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Family Medicine or Pediatrics preferred)
  • Active and unrestricted Florida APRN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain) strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification and complete required annual trainings
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and 30-50 lbs. occasionally
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
  • Potential exposure to infectious diseases
  • Ability to travel between clinic sites as needed
