Job description

IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a critical initiative within our Alternatives product portfolio, specifically focusing on Private Equity technology. The successful candidate will drive the development of new infrastructure components, enhance existing application capabilities, and implement SRE practices with a strong emphasis on automation. This is a time-sensitive role crucial for the accelerated roadmap and upcoming product launches.

The Project Manager will lead projects with a core focus on Private Equity technology, overseeing the following areas:

  • Infrastructure & Application Enhancement:
    • Lead the development and implementation of new infrastructure components dedicated to supporting Private Equity functions.
    • Manage projects focused on enhancing capabilities within existing Private Equity applications (e.g., portfolio monitoring, investor reporting, capital call management systems).
  • Automation and SRE Practices:
    • Drive projects aimed at automation across development, deployment, and operational processes within the Private Equity technology stack.
    • Oversee the establishment and expansion of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of Private Equity technology platforms.
  • Project Governance:
    • Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, ensuring alignment with the accelerated roadmap.
    • Collaborate with System Analysts, Full Stack Engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Delivery & Timeline Management:
    • Ensure all Private Equity technology initiatives are delivered immediately to avoid delays and meet upcoming product launch deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Industry Experience (Mandatory):
    • Demonstrated experience in the financial services industry, specifically within Asset Management Technology.
    • Essential exposure to Alternative investing, with a dedicated focus on the Private Equity asset class.
  • Core Project Management Skills:
    • Proven ability to manage time-sensitive, technology-driven projects under an accelerated roadmap.
    • Expertise in driving automation initiatives and implementing SRE practices within a complex financial technology environment.
    • Strong background in managing infrastructure development and application enhancement projects.
  • Communication & Leadership:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to align business needs with technical delivery teams.
    • Proven ability to lead and support cross-technology resources, including Full Stack Engineers and System Analysts.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 37,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 132,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees. This position is not available for independent contractors.
