About our client

Our client, a major international mid-market private equity firm, is looking for a motivated Associate to join their private equity Services & Software team in Frankfurt. Independent of fundraising, they invest from their balance sheet, operating in a similar way to other private equity funds.

What the job involves
  • Active involvement across the full investment cycle: evaluation, execution and monitoring
  • Conducting in-depth financial and commercial analysis, and preparing materials for investment committees
  • Supporting due diligence processes and coordinating external advisors
  • Working closely with senior team members to drive value creation initiatives at portfolio companies and contributing to board-level discussions
Who we are looking for
  • Strong academic background, ideally in business, finance, economics or a related field
  • Prior professional M&A experience from top-tier investment bank, management consulting or private equity firm
  • Exceptional commercial / financial analysis skills and excellent commercial judgement
  • Native-level German and business fluent English skills are required
