Landscapes Golf Management and Coyote Crossing Golf Club are seeking part time Golf Shop Attendants for the upcoming golf season. Must be at least 16 years of age by start date.  These are part time seasonal positions.  If you have a passion for golf and providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!  


Coyote Crossing Golf Club is a semi-private, award winning, Hale Irwin designed golf course located just off I-65 in West Lafayette, Indiana. Our beautiful bent grass, parkland-style course features multiple creek crossings that lead you through wildlife in native prairies, wetlands, and forests while challenging every club in your bag. Our player-friendly, relaxed club experience includes premium carts, a large practice area, and a restaurant with a full bar inside our scenic clubhouse, all of which are certain to provide a memorable round.

JOB SUMMARY

Assist members and customers in the golf shop area.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Registers golfers for their tee times, checks in customers, takes payment and assigns golf carts. Maintains accurate logs.
  2. Assist members/customers with merchandise questions courteously and professionally.
  3. Cash out members/customers and monitor the front counter.
  4. Stock, tag and display merchandise on golf shop floor ensuring all merchandise is neatly arranged and restocked to proper level.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness of the pro shop and assists with cleaning golf carts when necessary.
  6. Handle customer service request of members in a courteous and professional manner.
  7. Maintains neat, well groomed, professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.
  8. Assists with the step up of tournament, league or other golf events.
  9. Assist with merchandise inventory when needed.
  10. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.
  11. Performs additional assignments per the direction of the club or Company managers.
  12. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  2. Good oral communication skills.
  3. Can compute simple math and count change accurately.

WORK HOURS AND CONDITIONS

Work hours may include early mornings and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. May be exposed to inclement (non-threatening) weather, plant protection products, fertilizers, misdirected golf balls, and sharp and rapid equipment movement on a daily basis. Injury may result from exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. High School Diploma or GED required
  2. Previous experience in a customer service position preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 75-100%
  • Standing and walking 25-50%
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-24%
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 25-50%
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
