Grow Our Own (GO2) - Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee Development Program 

GO2 is our 12-month development program designed for recent graduates and early career individuals who are interested in starting a career in industrial sales. You will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing you to transition into a full-time outside sales/account manager role within an assigned territory with SunSource.  

What You will Do
  • Participate in structured training at our headquarters where you will receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and in-depth product training  
  • Learn full cycle outside sales skills and build relationships with new and existing customers to solve real-world customer problems through technical and product solutions 
  • Work alongside experienced Account Managers on joint sales calls visiting customers on-site  
What You will Need
  • Associate degree or technical training and 2 years of experience in a related field OR bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Sales, in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field 
  • Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment or individuals with mechanical interest/aptitude preferred 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be outgoing, friendly, approachable to build relationships with peers and potential customers with a commitment to delivering top results in a performance-based environment 
  • Ability to relocate to Addison, IL for 12 months of training at our corporate headquarters
