About the Role

This isn't your typical privacy counsel role. We're looking for a bold, creative senior attorney who thrives at the cutting edge of law, business, technology, and data. Our attorneys tackle big, complex challenges - from consumer privacy to artificial intelligence governance - and you'll be right in the middle of the action. You won't be starting from scratch - we've built strong privacy and compliance programs, and we need someone who can take them to the next level.

As a subject matter expert and go-to business partner, you'll deliver strategic legal guidance on privacy, emerging technologies, risk, compliance, and AI governance that directly shapes how we innovate. What You'll Do

Be a go-to advisor for business partners navigating global, state, and federal privacy, and cybersecurity laws. Elevate and evolve our established privacy programs that power enterprise-wide compliance strategies. Lead privacy and data security due diligence efforts with confidence and precision. Shape technology product development and commercial operations - including rolling up your sleeves on commercial contracting when needed. Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.

What You Bring

  • J.D. from an accredited law school is required, along with active bar membership in good standing (or regional equivalent).

  • Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in an in-house law department, with at least 5 years focused on privacy law.

  • Management experience is required.

  • Authorization to work in the applicable jurisdiction is required.

  • CIPP certifications are preferred.
