About Unison:
Unison, a leading provider of procurement and grants management solutions to the federal marketplace, is seeking a Functional Consultant to support Federal Government customers using Unison's PRISM acquisition platform. This position will focus on supporting the Requisitioning business area, providing functional expertise, user support, training, and operational guidance to Government users throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Role Overview:
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience supporting the Unison PRISM Requisitioning module within a Federal acquisition environment. Candidates with experience supporting other federal acquisition or procurement systems who possess a strong understanding of the federal requisitioning process are also encouraged to apply.
Unison consultants work directly with clients to understand business processes, optimize system usage, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the implementation and ongoing operation of Unison's software solutions. Consultants are trusted advisors who help agencies maximize the value of their investment in Unison's products while supporting mission-critical procurement operations.
Responsibilities
The Functional Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert supporting Government requisitioning users, providing day-to-day functional support, user training, business process guidance, and system expertise within Unison's PRISM platform.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide functional support for Government users throughout the requisitioning lifecycle within the PRISM application
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve functional issues while delivering timely, high-quality customer support
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend best practices for utilizing PRISM functionality and improving business processes
  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual user training for new users, refresher courses, and software enhancements
  • Develop and maintain user guides, job aids, training materials, and standard operating procedures
  • Support system configuration, testing, and validation activities for application enhancements and software releases
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation activities
  • Partner with Government stakeholders to identify operational efficiencies and process improvements
  • Coordinate with Functional Consultants, Technical Consultants, and Project Managers to resolve complex functional issues
  • Monitor support trends and recommend solutions that improve the overall customer experience
  • Build trusted relationships with Government users and stakeholders through responsive, professional customer service
  • Ensure assigned work is completed on schedule while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction

Qualifications
Required Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise software applications
  • 3+ years of experience providing end-user software support and user training
  • Experience working directly with clients in a consulting, implementation, or customer support role
  • Experience documenting business processes, user procedures, knowledge articles, or training materials
  • Experience troubleshooting functional software issues and coordinating with technical teams
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Preferred Experience:
  • Hands-on experience supporting the Unison PRISM Requisitioning module strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the Federal acquisition lifecycle, including requisitioning, approvals, funding, procurement, and purchasing workflows
  • Experience supporting Federal Government acquisition, procurement, or grants management systems
  • Experience supporting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) enterprise software solutions
  • Experience with business process analysis and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting software implementations or Operations & Maintenance (O&M) environments
  • Experience conducting end-user training and change management activities

Compensation:
Base Salary: $70,000 - $120,000
