  • Training: You will receive virtual and in-person art restoration training - travel required for training.

A Day in the Life of an Art Restoration & Recovery Technician:
  • Inventory, document, and evaluate artwork, collectibles or photographs for recovery
  • Remove, protect and transport artwork from insured home / business.
  • Disassemble and evaluate artwork to be cleaned, serviced and/ or repaired.
  • Select and order frames and other replacement items as needed.
  • Clean, restore and re-assemble artwork to pre-loss condition.
  • Deliver artwork to insured home or business.
  • Communicate with insured to update status of their artwork.
  • Communicate with Prism corporate office for instruction and problem solving.

What We are Looking for in You:
  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts.
  • Painting background with an understanding of color matching.
  • Photoshop experience a plus.
  • Picture framing experience a plus.
  • Desire to tackle art challenges and problem solve the best solution
  • Excellent customer service skills - providing "high touch" service to our clients.
  • Exhibit a professional, neat, and clean appearance that represents the Prism Specialty Restoration brand.
  • Understand that entry into damaged properties such as a burnt buildings and homes will be routine to the job.
  • Working knowledge of basic PC operations.
  • Strengths in multi-tasking and prioritizing.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • General office administration responsibilities, such as; ordering materials, answering client questions/phones and estimating jobs using our tracking system (you will be trained).
  • Professional, neat, and clean appearance that represents the Prism Specialty Restoration brand.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Available to work overtime hours on occasion, including nights or weekends.

Compensation
  • Part time: 2-3 days per week with option to grow into full-time as well as management roles.
  • Hourly: $22 to $30 per hour.
  • Company performance bonus.
  • Healthcare and 401K are not available at this time but are expected to be supplied as the business grows.

NOTE: Must be willing and able to pass criminal and motor vehicle operation background checks and be comfortable driving a 16' box truck.
