Enterprise Solutions Specialist

This position is a remote opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we're committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.

As an Enterprise Solutions Specialist (ESS), you will support the Strategic Account Executives (SAEs) to drive the adoption of the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) product portfolio, which includes continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), at health systems within an assigned territory. The role will partner with key clinical and administrative stakeholders on the design, implementation, and adoption of health system solutions to integrate ADC's product portfolio within healthcare facilities at target health systems with direction from the SAE.

This is a field based opportunity. The territory will be Northern California.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with SAEs as necessary on development of account strategy and execution plans at priority health systems within assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders at healthcare facilities and HQ at target health systems throughout the clinical workflow advisory, implementation, and adoption process
  • Conduct existing workflow analyses and consult on workflow changes that need to occur with the implementation of new functionality and solutions in ADC's portfolio
  • Support solution implementation across customer facilities, effectively partnering with internal technical specialists, as needed, to develop and refine the solution
  • Facilitate proper change management in the clinical or operational environment, ensure proper testing of the solution, and establish a comprehensive training plan to provide for a smooth transition of the solution to the customer
  • Provide staff support and training on workflows for onboarding patients
  • Define and document desired outcomes and KPIs according to identified customer needs
  • Serve as an active member of professional IT / EMR implementation organizations (e.g., HIMSS, AMIA, etc.) and proactively share knowledge, experience, and lessons learned
Experience You'll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of work experience in one or more of the following: clinical consulting, field sales, product marketing, systems analysis, agency or medical/clinical experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
  • Excellent problem solving, relationship building, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills Solution-oriented mindset
  • Process management skills, including end-to-end mapping and systems analyses abilities
  • Professionalism when interacting with customers
  • Ability to prepare and deliver effective oral and written communications
  • Skilled in crafting and executing change management actions and communications
  • Proven ability to manage both projects and time
  • Prior clinical training and adult education delivery experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight 50% - 75%

Preferred

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with experience in a hospital and/or outpatient setting.
  • Experience developing or consulting on clinical protocols and / or workflows
  • Diabetes disease area knowledge and experience with related products (e.g. glucose monitors, pumps)
