Job description

Works in the firm's Marketing Department in support of communication programs, assisting with efforts to increase the firm's brand awareness through proactive, comprehensive and accurate content.

Support the Communications Team and their efforts to raise awareness of Shook's brand and capabilities via the firm's website, social media, the press and the firm's intranet.
Assist the PR and Communications Specialist with submissions for surveys, awards, rankings and lists.
Help maintain, along with the PR and Communications Specialist, editorial calendars for all of Shook's relevant practices and offices for media and submission opportunities.

Assist content team with creation and distribution of external firm publications, including newsletters and client alerts.

Assist social media team with creation of LinkedIn and Instagram posts.

Assist multimedia team with creation of videos and podcasts and maintaining firm's video studio.

Assist with updating attorney bios.
Assist with posting content to the firm's website and writing/editing copy.
Assist with proofreading of marketing materials.
Provide administrative support for members of the communications team, including correspondence, logistics, invoicing and print production assistance.
Understand the Marketing Department's project management system and ability to make updates as necessary.
Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor under stress and maintains confidentiality at all times.
Keep supervisor abreast of current issues and potential problems as they develop; seeks advice as needed.
