Job description

JOB IS LOCATED IN SALT LAKE CITY REGION. GENEROUS RELOCATION PKG. IS PROVIDED.

Premier sheetfed offset printing and converting company in Utah is searching to hire a day shift Pressroom Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and direct offset printing production and sheeting operations.
  • Oversee production, materials, equipment maintenance to ensure quality and on-time schedules are met.
  • Maintain/improve continuous improvement methods to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce waste and down times.
  • Manage metrics that effect costs and quality to monitor press crews performance vs KPI's.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with sales and peer managers providing technical support and offering ways to improve manufacturing processes to maximize production, reduce costs, while meeting client expectations.
  • Implement planning/scheduling strategies for maximum throughput and accuracy.
  • Provide training and mentoring to press employees.
  • Build an inclusive, team focused department that is focused on continuous improvements and safety.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.


Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5 years' offset sheetfed printing management/leadership experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of high quality offset sheetfed printing. G7 certification a plus.
  • Prior experience operating 40: sheetfed offset presses a plus; Heidelberg preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent team building and employee development experience.
  • Solid leadership and mentoring skills experienced in leading and coaching employees to meet their goals.
  • Assist C level management in special projects.
  • Proficient on MSO.


Starting salary range $90,000 - $120,000 + benefits, 401k match and relocation assistance.
