Printing Coordinator|Raleigh| HIRING IMMEDIATELY 

Incentives:

Available Shift:

  • Rotating 12 hour shift 7am-7pm/7pm-7am 

    Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts on a Dupont schedule

  • Includes 7 consecutive days off every month! 

Purpose of the job: 

This position will have a role in directing, controlling, planning and organizing within the Printing production area. This position will provide support and leadership to deliver sustainable systems for Safety, Quality, Production, Training, and Team Member development that ensures customer satisfaction and budgeted return on investment. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • This position will report to the shift Supervisor.
  • Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation of the SQF systems.
  • Responsible for all end of shift production activities (Insight, SAP, Waste Tracking, Production Logs, etc.)
  • Provide support for OPX 360 compliance (Tier 0, Tier 1, SQDC Board, 5S, etc.)
  • Validate OPMR is scheduled correctly, and press schedules are set and understood by crews.
  • Ensure Printing inventory and transactions (WIP, ink, printing supplies, etc.) are accurate.
  • Verify correct roll stock, plates, tooling, and dockets are ready to run to avoid process interruptions.
  • Assist with crewing schedule and communication
  • To undertake operational duties as required to meet deadlines and/or cover for staff absence, filling gaps in resources in all areas
  • Checking the suitability and quality of materials and all print operations during the production process through to the final quality check and dispatch.
  • To review and make recommendations to ensure that operations run effectively.
  • Support the evaluation, training and development of all Printing Team Members to enhance career goals, retention, and succession planning and performance improvement.
  • Ensure effective implementation and on-going compliance with Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Provide products and services that consistently meet the mutually agreed upon specifications of both our internal and external customers.
  • Involve team members in continuously improving the quality of our products and services, and the efficiency of operations and staff activities throughout the business.
  • Responsible for providing resources and tools necessary for the development and implementation of quality and food safety systems.
  • Provide leadership and direction for achieving quality improvement by interpreting policy, recommending strategies, organizing resources, and assisting leaders in the development and implementation of improvement plans.
  • Produce safe, quality products that comply with all applicable federal, state, and international laws, regulations, and guidelines. Compliance will be assured by internal and external, third-party audits and product testing.
  • Ensure that their team completes all training requirements.
  • Participate in monthly food safety internal audits.
  • Other job duties as assigned by Team Leader/Supervisor.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Requires intermidiate computer skills.
  • Requires intermidiate understanding of manufacturing operation principles (productivity, quality assurance, financial responsibilities, etc.).
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal. written and verbal communicaiton skills to effectively respond with all levels of the organizations.
  • Must have excellent organizational/time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities. 
  • Must be dependable and have excellent attendance, safety and performance records. 
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours if needed. 

Education and/or Experience Requirements (Qualifications)

  • Experience in flexographic printing preferred.
  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
