Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Print Room Supervisor to lead daily production within a fast-paced graphics and print environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership with technical expertise, ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to completion while maintaining strong quality and safety standards. The position offers the opportunity to oversee a small, skilled team, drive process improvements, and play a key role in delivering high-quality print and signage products on time and within budget.
Print Room Supervisor Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the daily production schedule to ensure timely and efficient completion of print and graphics projects
- Supervise and support a small production team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and identifying training and development needs
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of graphics equipment including printers, plotters, laminators, laser cutters, and CNC routers
- Maintain quality control standards by reviewing work in progress and finished products for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Coordinate material ordering and inventory needs to support uninterrupted production workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables
- Enforce safety procedures and compliance with OSHA and internal standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall department productivity
Print Room Supervisor Requirements
