Job description

Production Associate Screen Printing Position Overview

We are looking for reliable and motivated Production Associates to join our screen-printing team. This is a hands-on production role supporting the printing of apparel for well-known clients including Mac Tools, Homage, Victoria's Secret, and Build-A-Bear.

We are hiring for several positions within the production team, including Print Catching, Screen Room, and Screen Setup. The right candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Previous screen-printing experience is helpful but not required for all positions.

  • Print Catcher: MondayWednesday, 5:00 AM6:30 PM
  • Print Catcher: ThursdaySaturday, 5:00 AM6:30 PM
  • Screen Room Technician: MondayFriday, 1:30 PM10:30 PM
  • Screen Setup: MondayFriday, 1:30 PM10:30 PM
Main Responsibilities Print Catcher / Production
  • Catch and stack printed shirts as they come off the dryer.
  • Inspect finished shirts for quality issues and defects.
  • Sort and stack shirts neatly by size.
  • Maintain an organized and clean production area.
  • Learn additional production duties, including screen press unloading, as skills and experience develop.
  • Follow production and safety procedures while working around printing equipment and inks.
Screen Room Technician
  • Create and prepare screens for production.
  • Operate Direct-to-Screen equipment and related screen room equipment.
  • Inspect screens carefully for small flaws or imperfections.
  • Maintain a clean, organized screen room.
  • Prepare screens according to production requirements and schedules.
  • Help ensure jobs are ready on time to keep production moving.
Screen Setup
  • Prepare and tape screens received from the screen room.
  • Gather and organize the required materials for each print job, including screens and inks.
  • Prepare print carts according to job requirements.
  • Place completed carts on the production floor according to the print schedule.
  • Clear print carts and materials when jobs are completed.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the selected schedule.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly for quality-control responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions and production schedules.
  • Comfortable working around printing inks and equipment.
  • Print Catcher applicants should wear clothing they do not mind getting dirty or exposed to ink.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, screen-printing, or production experience is a plus, but training is available.
