Qualifications of Printing Press Operator:

  • 2+ years of Offset Printing Press experience required
  • Strong understanding of the physical, chemical, mechanical, and electronic aspects of the printing process required
  • Ability to accurately read job tickets and manage production materials throughout the print run required
  • Better-than-average color perception and a strong eye for print quality and graphic standards required
  • Experience troubleshooting and operating offset printing presses preferred

Responsibilities of Printing Press Operator:

  • Setting up, operating, and monitoring offset printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials while ensuring color accuracy and consistency
  • The position requires reading job tickets, preparing press components, troubleshooting mechanical and print-quality issues, and maintaining production standards throughout the printing process
  • Candidates will also work closely with the production team, lead when needed, and be flexible in supporting both first and second shift operations
