Description:

ALG Label and Graphics is seeking to hire a Screen Printing Press Operator with knowledge and experience in the screen printing process for 1st shift. This position is full-time with full company benefits. Experience in apparel screen printing, with multi-color and/or automatic press or other printing processes, will be considered in lieu of flatbed and cylinder printing press experience.


SUMMARY:

The screen-printing Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a screen printing press. Production requirements include producing products that meet our quality standards using inspection systems and or quality processes. Candidate must possess the ability to maintain quality production, inspection, and packaging of products produced.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

ยท Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, producing quality products.

ยท Inspect product produced to job specifications and quality standards

ยท Receives production order and job assignments from supervisor or lead.

ยท Obtains needed supplies to produce jobs.

ยท Be able to read, review, and understand job tickets and proofs.

ยท Completes production records as required by company guidelines.

ยท Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

ยท Ensures cleanliness of work area.

ยท Project positive and professional behavior/attitude

ยท Follow administrative procedures established for inter/intradepartmental interaction.

ยท Additional tasks/duties/special projects may be assigned, as necessary

Requirements:


  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. A minimum of 1 year of printing experience is required (screen printing preferred)
  3. Proficient computer skills required.
  4. Mechanical aptitude
  5. Good color perception
  6. Detail oriented
  7. Works well with hands, with good fine-motor skills.
